	If Birds and Bears can get along, why can't Democrats and Republicans? Bird T. Word and Erin T. Bear are pleased to announce their candidacy for office in 2008. As for what office, they do not know, but whatever office it is, the constituents are lucky to have such quality candidates. Bird and Bear bring years of experience running their successful business, Bird Bear Enterprises, to the public sector. Says Bird, "If we can get people and animals workiing together in various realms of the business world, then we can carry that over to help Democrats and Republicans get along and better serve the people of the United States of America." That attitude is exactly what America needs. The campaign, so far, rests on two main facets. Bird and Bear call it the "R & R" campaign. What is R&R? You guessed it: Rest and Relaxation. REST: Naps will be required all winter long during the day. Government holidays will be extended from a few random days during the "Holiday season" to a week-long paid break for all working citizens of the United States. Businesses that stay open during the official holidays will expect to pay employees at time and a half. RELAXATION: Airfare to locations "someplace warm" will be discounted and/or free during the winter months. As Bird and Bear are both involved in large travel corporations, they are willing to offer free vacations for citizens of the United States, as winter migrations are very imporant. In addition, Erin T. Bear promises "Fish Fry Fridays" at all local government centers, as a means of community outreach. Vegetarian options will also be available to those who do not eat fish. Vegetarian options will include berries and twigs. Bird and Bear are dedicated to serving the people, regardless of what the agenda of a particular political affiliation. Bird and Bear show heart, passion and compassion towards public service and do not take their candidacy lightly. "We are honored to be running for office, and once we determine what office it is, we will be even more honored!" said Bear during a press conference at the Bear Lair on Wednesday evening. "This year's election showed us that America is not satisfied with staying stagnant and are ready for change. How much change can the tail of a quarter bring after six years of following the head?
